A Climbing Adventure Day could be the perfect option. No experience necessary, but a reasonable level of fitness will help you get the most out of your day as you try bouldering, roped climbing and abseiling all under the expert guidance of our instructor.

Absolutely! If you have been bouldering for around 6 months you will have all the strength and techniques needed. Our qualified guide will teach you the outdoor roped climbing skills you need outside and give you the opportunity to experience some amazing quality routes.

The Guided Day course is aimed at those making the transition from indoors to outdoors, who want an introduction to new roped climbing skills and enjoy being led up some classic routes in the Lakes. The Skills course is specifically aimed at those who want to start trad lead climbing and already have roped climbing skills.

Absolutely! We provide all the climbing equipment you will need for your course, or you are free to bring your own. You may find your regular climbing shoes, especially those used for bouldering are a little on the snug side for trad climbing, but we can lend you a more comfy pair.

When we climb outdoors in the Lake District, the weather can often be unpredictable! We recommend lots of layers; warm jacket and hat; possibly waterproofs; walking boots / sturdy approach shoes; packed lunch, snacks and drinks; and a rucksack to carry everything.

We always start fairly easy, warming up and getting used to the rock friction and features, from there on it depends on the abilities of the group.

We only use instructors that we trust, and have nationally recognised qualifications.

Climbing Adventure Days are perfect for families with older children aged 14+. Please bear in mind that all under 18’s need to be accompanied by a participating adult at a ratio of 1 adult to a max of 2 children.
