Join our instructors for an adventurous guided day out climbing on some of the Lake District’s finest routes. This experience is perfect for anyone who wants to get out and enjoy some of the best routes The Lakes has to offer, without the stress of leading them yourself!
While you’ll have the chance to pick up some basic skills, the focus is on getting you on the rock and enjoying classic climbs. If you’re looking to gain the full set of skills to head out independently, check out our Rock Skills course.

- Children need to be accompanied by a participating parent at a ratio of 1:1.
- Min age 14 years.
- All equipment included.
Previous experience required:
- If you have been climbing regularly, you will have all the strength and technique needed to climb outside. Some belaying experience is preferred but not essential.

Find Us
KendalWall is situated in the northern region of Kendal. Kendal has great transport links, being on the main west coast train line and in close proximity to the M6 motorway. So whether you’re travelling by car or public transport, getting here should be easy.
For major train links look for Oxenholme Train Station. From here you can either catch a short taxi ride or transfer to Kendal Train Station, which is a 20 minute walk from the centre.
