It’s Back! This year each wall is running its Winter Bouldering League with an open-style format across KendalWall, PrestonWall and LancasterWall. Whether you’re a seasoned comp climber or just getting started, come and climb as often as you like and chase those scores.

How it works

• Each round runs for just over a month — come in any time during the round and try the boulders as many times as you like.
• Each round officially starts at 6:00pm on the day listed (check the boards or our website for exact start/closing dates at each wall). Scores must be submitted by the round’s closing date.
• Scores are recorded on Griptonite.
• To compete in a round: pay a £1 competition fee at the desk.
• Each Wall will hold a Finals evening in an open-style format — you must attend your Wall’s Finals for your score to be submitted in the final results. Your score will be a combination of your Finals score and your best two qualifying rounds.

Categories & Age Brackets

(Please input your age as of 20 February 2026 when entering.)

• Junior: 0 – 16
• Senior: 17 – 39
• Veteran: 40 – 59
• SuperVet: 60+

Competition categories: Open and Female.

Prizes & Raffle

Winners in each category will receive a prize. We’ll also be running a raffle stuffed with fresh climbing goodies alongside the competition prizes — each round entry is another entry into the raffles!

Raffles will be announced at the Finals and you must be present to be eligible to win a raffle prize. If a raffle winner is not present at the Final when their name is called, that prize will be raffled again to someone else.
